Hello! In this tutorial, I’ll be showing you guys how to make a software like Microsoft Word without even writing a line of code!. You can download my software from here if you want an example (I added additional features to my software). Today I will be using Tiger Software Builder to create my software. You can buy the full version of the software from here or you get the trial version from here. For this tutorial I’ll only be showing you how to make a Word Processor but you’ll get used to it once you try it. 1.Open the Tiger software builder express 2.Click on the software objects and click on the new button, give the software object a name, icon and caption which will appear on the Home screen/Navigation section of your software. 3.Click the editor tab and click on the new button. 4.Now we will specify the type of property editor we want(i.e. word processor) so click on the picture box which says,’No image data’and select Word Processing Editor and click ok. 5.Give it a Name,Caption and Description (if you want) and click on Save and Close on the top. 6.Same way we are going to create text box which will allow users to add title to their documents so that all their documents will be viewed in the homepage of the word processor, don’t worry you’ll know what it is in a couple of minutes. 7.On the same software object you already created, Click on the editor tab and again click on the new button. 8.Click on the Picture box and choose text editor and click on the Ok button.Specify Name, Caption and description (if you want). In this case give the caption ‘Title:’ and click on the Save and Close button in the top of the window. 9.Save it and close the window and your software object is now ready. 10.For final step, Click on ‘Software projects’ and click on the new button. 11.Now we need to add the software object that we just created into our software. Below the project window there is a tabbed list box labelled as ‘Software objects’. Click on the green add button and add the software object and click on the OK button. 12.When the project window opens, add the software object below and give your software a name, icon, theme, description, splash screen, etc… 13..After you have finished, save your project and click on on the Miscellaneous tab and click Create Setup to compile your software into an executable or click Run software to test your software. 14.And voila you’re done!
